Obituary

Hance, Charles Sidney 85 of Louisville passed away Saturday April 19, 2014 at the Masonic Home Sam Swope Care Center.
He was born on July 12, 1928 in Lockport, KY. Charlie was a WWII Navy Veteran, 65-year member of the Lockport Masonic Lodge, a 32nd
degree member of the Valley of Louisville Scottish Rite, a member of the Kosair Shrine Temple, a Kentucky Colonel, Okolona Little League baseball coach and
a retiree from Brown-Forman. He was smart, strong, steadfast, resilient, and family proud. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clemie
and Hessie Hance, nine siblings, a daughter, Ruth, and his wife Marilyn.

Charlie is survived by sons: Chuck (Mary), Michael(Becky), Tim(Rosie), Dennis(Pam) of Troy, OH; his daughters Kay Morgan and Trish(Bruce) Williford along with
14 Grandchildren, 22 Great-grandchildren and a sister, Jeannie Pedersen of Solvang, CA.

Funeral Service will be conducted at 10 am Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at Southeast Christian Church 920 Blankenbaker Pkwy
with visitation 2pm – 8pm on Monday April 21 at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown 9318 Taylorsville Rd with burial in
Resthaven Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
