Hortense (Camara) Rego, age 92 of Fall River, passed away Friday, April 18, 2014 at the Catholic Memorial Home. She was the wife of the late Edwin S. Rego and the daughter of the late John & Hortense (Amaral) Camara. Prior to retiring, Hortense worked for SEALSAC Mfg. and then for Lynn Jay Mfg. as a sewing machine operator. She had been a parishioner of St. Michael’s Church.
She is survived by several nieces, nephews, great nieces & nephews, and great-great nieces & nephews. She was the sister of the late Manuel, John, Edward, Ernest, Jeremiah & Hilda Camara, Delores DuPonte, & Beatrice Correia.
Her funeral will take place from the MANUEL ROGERS & SONS FUNERAL HOME, INC. 1521 N. Main St., Fall River on WEDNESDAY at 8:30 A.M. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in the SS.
