Mrs. Irene D. (Beaulieu) Dubois, a longtime resident of Lawrence and beloved wife of the late Lorenzo R. Dubois, died at the Mary Immaculate Nursing Center in Lawrence on Wednesday morning, April 16, 2014. She was 99 years old.
Born in Andover, Massachusetts, on October 21, 1914, she was the beloved daughter of the late Ernest and Eva (Thibodeau) Beaulieu. Mrs. Dubois was the loving mother of Lorraine and her husband Real Beaudoin of Hampstead, New Hampshire, Lawrence and his wife Lucia Dubois of Lawrence, Elaine and her husband Joseph Sefsick of Methuen, Irene and her husband Harold Frazier of Lawrence, Arlene Svenson of Salem, New Hampshire, David and his wife Donna Dubois of Haverhill and Barry and his wife Karen Dubois of Windham, New Hampshire, dear sister of Leo Beaulieu of Salem, New Hampshire, cherished grandmother of 16, great-grandmother of 23 and great-great-grandmother of 1.
She enjoyed family gatherings, playing 45, reading and crocheting.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover on Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are most welcome to attend. Calling hours will be held on Monday, April 21, 2014, from 4 to 8 pm at the Burke-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 390 North Main Street, Andover. Interment will be in St. Augustine Cemetery in Andover.
