James F. Brooks, 79, passed away Thursday April 17, 2014, at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was born in McMinville, TN., to Ernest Odell & Geneva (Bramlett) Brooks.
James was a self-employed Dental Lab Technician and Owner/Operator of Victorian Dental Lab.
He was retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years service and was a Vietnam War Veteran.
He belonged to the Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, and a Son: James Michael Brooks (2011).
Survivors include his children: Denise Decker (Clifford), Linda J. Cunningham (Kenneth) and Robin Brooks (Shannon Gerry); 6 Grandchildren;
and his beloved Chihuahua “Boogie”.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., with burial to follow in Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, with military honors.
Visitation will be Wednesday 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM expressions of Sympathy: American Cancer Society.
