Minton Jr., Melver Carvin 79 of Louisville passed away Thursday April 17, 2014 at Baptist Health.
Born in Windsor, N.C. he was a retired Maintenance Manager for MSD and was an Army National Guard Veteran during the Korean War.
Preceded in death by his wife Ruth Horn Minton; Survived by his Children Melvin C. Minton 3rd (Jane), Lee Minton, and Kim Deetsch; a Sister Sue White;
Grandchildren Joshua, Erik, Joseph, Emily, Leah, Lainie, and Ethan; Great Grandchildren Jonas and Darcy Ruth.
His funeral service will be 11 am Saturday, April 19, 2014 at Owen Funeral Home-Jeffersontown 9318 Taylorsville Rd. Burial will be private. Visitation will be
