Anthony J. DiMauro, age 84, of Billerica passed away April 13th, at the Winchester Hospital following a lengthy illness. He was the beloved husband of Gloria E. (Estevez) DiMauro. Born in Boston he was the son of the late Vincent and Lucy (Bonaiuto) DiMauro.

Tony enlisted in to the United States Army in January of 1951 and honorably served during the Korean War until his discharge from active duty in December of 1953. He was a retired Manager with the Meat Dept. of Star Market where he worked for many years. Tony enjoyed golfing and bowling but his true passion was gardening. He loved working in his garden and sharing the fruits of his labor with family and friends. When not working in his garden Tony enjoyed traveling, and being with his family.

Along with his beloved wife Gloria, Tony is survived by his children; Peggy Fuller and her husband Donald of Hudson, NH, Anthony DiMauro of Maine, Marie Murphy and her husband Peter of Billerica, Lisa VanStry and her husband Richard of Medford, Linda Santullo and her husband John of Woburn, Lucy Parent and her husband Ernest, Laura Martinez and her husband Joseph, all of Billerica. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Brother of Linda Morris of Medford and the late Lucy Randazzo

Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home 374 Main St., Wilmington, Thursday, April17th, at 9 a.m. followed by a blessing in St. Dorothy Church, Main St. Wilmington, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours at the Funeral Home will be held on Wednesday from 4 thru 8 p.m. Services will conclude with Military Honors and burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. Memorial contributions may be made in Tony's memory to the Disabled American Veterans, State House, Room 546, Boston, MA 02133.
