Evelyn A. Messina of Medford died Saturday, April 12 in the Spaulding Hospital-Cambridge. Born and raised in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Michael and Maria (DeMeo) Maffucci. After marrying, she spent several years in East Boston before settling in Medford, where she lived for close to 40 years.

Evelyn was the beloved wife of the late Peter Messina and loving sister of Orlando Maffucci of Colorado. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
