Obituary

Sara A. “Sally” Crane 71, of Natick died unexpectedly Friday, April 11, 2014 at her home.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Crane, Sr. who died in 2011.
A Natick resident for 45 years she was born in Philadelphia, PA one of 13 children born to the late Edward and Elizabeth (Sharkey) Hunter.
Mrs. Crane was a Clerk for the Massachusetts Court System at the Natick Courthouse for over 15 years before retiring in 2010.
She was a longtime member of St. Linus Parish and was a member of the St. Linus Sodality.
Sally was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, especially cherishing the time supporting the school and sporting activities of all of her grandchildren.
She is survived by five children Joseph P. Crane, Jr. and his wife Patricia of Arlington, Edward J. Crane and his wife Christine of Wentworth NH, Sally Ann Tingley and her husband Vincent of Natick, Timothy J. Crane and his wife Kelly of Natick, Jennifer H. Wright and her husband Michael of Marlborough, two brothers James Hunter and his wife Mary of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Robert Hunter and his wife Pat of Philadelphia one sister Betty Lou Popdan and her husband Dack of Jenkintown PA, a sister in law Donna Hunter of Philadelphia, 27 grandchildren, Patrick, Katherine, Bridget Crane, Zachariah, Noah, Samuel, Isaiah ,Rebekah, Gabriel, Shiolah, Elijah, Simeon, Hadassah Crane, Christopher, Brian, Megan Tingley, Halle, Sydney, Ryan Crane, Michael, Shannon, Kelly, Morgan and Madison Burns, Andrew, Michael, Nicholas Wright, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the funeral on Wednesday, April 16th at 9:00 a.m. from the John Everett and Sons Funeral Home, 4 Park Street Natick, MA followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Linus Church at 10:00 A.M. , 119 Hartford St., Natick, MA
Visiting hours are Tuesday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM. Interment St. Patrick Cemetery, Natick, MA.
Expressions of sympathy may be made in Sally’s memory to the Shriners Hospitals for Children, 51 Blossom Street, Boston, or to the Burns Children Educational Fund, in care of Meredith Village Savings, Bank P.O. Box 2059, Wolfeboro, NH 03894.
