Driscoll, Mary Christine “Chris”, died peacefully on Friday, April 11, 2014, following a long struggle with cancer. She was 48 years old.
Chris was raised in North Scituate, MA and was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy in Hingham and Boston College. For the last 20 years, she was employed at Putnam Investments in Boston.
She was devoted to her five older brothers, and she adored her 18 nieces and nephews, and a grand niece and nephew.
Chris fought a courageous ten-year battle with cancer, and she will remain, forever, an inspiration to her family and friends.
She leaves her five brothers, her godfather, William, and his wife, Mary Frances of Vero Beach, FL, Thomas and his wife, Jane of Belmont, Kevin and his wife Kathleen of Hingham, Brian of Cohasset, and Jay and his wife Jean of Hingham.
Visiting hours will be from 4:00 to 8:00 pm on Tuesday April 15, 2014, and 8:30 am to 9:30 am on Wednesday April 16th at the Robert J. Lawler & Crosby Funeral Home, 1803 Centre Street, West Roxbury, MA 02132.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday April 16th, 2014 at 10:00 am in the Holy Name Church, 1689 Centre Street, West. Roxbury. Interment will be at Holyhood Cemetery, Brookline, MA.
