William “Bill” C. Mills, Jr.
Augusta, GA – Bill Mills, Jr. went home to be with the Lord April 11, 2014, 66, husband of Norma M. Mills.
Bill was a member of Marks Baptist Church and Green Meadows Golf Club. He worked at West Lake Country Club. Golfing was his life.
In addition to his wife, family members include daughters: Kathryn Mills (Peter) of Toronto, Canada and Melody Mills of Atlanta, GA; step-son: Mike McKechnie (Jolene) of Hebo, OR; grandchildren: Keygan Black, Rachel Kruse, Tyson McKechnie, Kaitlyn Mills and Angel Mills; and sister: Star Storey (Alan).
A memorial service will be Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at Marks Baptist Church with Pastor Hal Hodgens officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Police Benevolent Foundation, 2155 Highway 42 South, McDonough, GA 30252.
The family will receive friends beginning at 12 noon until the time of the service at the church.
