Margaret “Ann” H. Majors
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, April 9, 2014, Mrs. Margaret “Ann” Helton Majors, 78, wife of the late Major James S. Majors (Ret.).
Mrs. Majors was a native of Anniston, Alabama. She was a devoted daughter, military wife, mother to son: William Majors and daughters: Mary Majors and Margaret Weston and grandmother to Brie and Sarah Weston. Mrs. Majors loved volunteering and was a softie for stray cats. She was an avid reader, a great cook, loved games and puzzles and watching British Television and Sci-Fi. Mrs. Majors supported several organizations including the ASPCA, the Wounded Warrior Project, the Breast Cancer Society and the Salvation Army.
She fought a long and valiant battle with cancer and kept her trademark humor until the end. She will be dearly missed.
A graveside memorial service will be in Arlington National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions be made to any of the charities listed above.
