Linda M. (Manfra) Kearns died peacefully at the Kaplan Family Hospice on Tuesday evening after a brief illness. She was 66.

Linda was born and raised in Charlestown, the daughter of the late Anthony and Marie (Cataldo) Manfra. She studied nursing at the St. Elizabeth School of Nursing and worked locally before moving to the San Diego area. She worked for many years as a nurse with the Scripps Memorial Hospital in LaJolla. Seven years ago she returned to Medford and enjoyed serving as a volunteer at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Linda was devoted to her children and grandchildren and loved spending time with all of her family and friends.


The beloved mother of Walter Kearns and his wife Iskra of Valley Center, CA and Tiffany Aaronson and her husband Rob of Santee, CA, Linda was a loving grandmother to Miguel, Mya, Maximus and Jake. She was a devoted sister to Debra Fortin and her husband Edward of Westford, Cheryl Delafano and her husband Robert of Medford, Elaine Manfra and her husband Louis Klipper of Middleton. She also leaves many dear nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday April 11th from 4 through 8 PM and again on Saturday morning at 9 followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford, at 10 AM.
