Marion J. McKenna (Hunt) age 81 of Canton passed away April 9th surrounded by her loving family. Born in Dorchester, she was raised in Mission Hill and graduated from Mission High. She worked as a Secretary for General Electric and St. Elizabeth’s Hospital before retiring. She has lived in Canton for the last 17 years and previously lived in Allston/Brighton. Beloved mother of Ellen M. McCarey and her husband Paul of Sharon and John A. McKenna and his wife Carol of Sherborn. Grandmother of Jennifer and Kaitlin McCarey and Paige McKenna. Sister of William Hunt and his wife Betty of Weymouth, M. Regina Murphy of Wakefield, Claire Hunt of Marblehead and the late Ann Knapp. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral mass at Our Lady of Sorrows Church 59 Cottage St. Sharon Saturday morning at 11. Visiting hours Saturday morning will be in the church prior to the mass from 10 to 11 am. Burial private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute 44 Binney St. Boston, MA 02115. | |||||
