Jean E. Sicard Kelleher age 54 of Canton passed away April 8th at home surrounded by her loving family and devoted friends. Born in Warwick, RI she lived almost her entire life in Canton and graduated from Canton High School Class of 1977. She received her Bachelor’s from Boston College and her Master’s in Education from Wheelock College. She previously taught at the Massachusetts Hospital School and has been a teacher at St. John the Evangelist School in Canton for the last 30 years. Jean was a standout athlete and was an All American Field Hockey Player at Boston College. She was an avid soccer fan and was the Team Mother for the South Coast Scorpions and the Boston University Soccer team, where her daughter Shauna played college soccer. Jean was a member and former lifeguard of the Ponkapoag Civic and Pool Director at Noble and Greenough School Summer Day Camp. She is survived by her loving husband Michael P. Kelleher. Devoted mother of Shauna R. of S. Boston and Matthew D. of Boston. Sister of Claire Lund and her husband Scott of Canton. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Friday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. John the Evangelist Church Canton Saturday morning at 10. Burial St. Mary’s Cemetery, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean’s memory may be made to the St. John School Foundation 700 Washington St. Canton, MA 02021. | |||||
