FRAMINGHAM: Madeline L. (Warren) Wheet, age 94, a former Wellesley resident, died on Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at Carlyle House in Framingham, her home for the past seven years. She was the devoted wife of William E. Wheet who died in 1996.

Madeline and Bill settled in Wellesley in 1950, where Madeline created a warm and loving home for their growing family. The family was active parishioners of Saint James the Great Church, and enjoyed getaways to Wells, Maine. Madeline was employed with RCA as a quality control inspector in Needham during the 1960s and in 1970 joined the Bose Corporation as an inspector. She retired in 1991. Madeline and Bill were devoted to their family and enjoyed nothing more than being in the company of their children and grandchildren. Madeline lived briefly in Marstons Mills prior to moving to Carlyle House. She was thrilled to live to see her four great-grandchildren and played Bingo faithfully until this past week.

She is survived by two daughters, Deborah A. Potter and husband Gary of Oxford, and Cynthia A. Maressa and husband Mauro of Valencia, CA; two sons, John R. Wheet and wife Martha of Orleans, and Edward J.
