Alex Blandeburgo
Augusta, GA – Entered into rest Wednesday, April 2, 2014, Alex Blandeburgo.
Mr. Blandeburgo worked for the GA Department of Transportation, retiring after 35 years of service. Additionally, he was a self-proclaimed member of the Huddle House; he very rarely missed breakfast. Alex was a gentle, loving and kind brother, uncle and son.
Family members include parents: Gasper and Pauline Blandeburgo; sister: Rosemary Matthews (Todd); nephew: Ben Matthews; niece: Allison Matthews; and uncle: Carlo Blandeburgo.
The family wishes to thank Alex’s friends and neighbors at Wymberly for their kindness and friendship.
A memorial service will be held Friday, April 4, 2014 at 12 Noon in the Chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Ron Jones and Rev. Fred Gunter officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions may be made to The Hill Baptist Church, 2165 Kings Way, Augusta, GA 30904.
