New Bedford – Domingo Adorno, age 67 of New Bedford, passed away, peacefully, on Friday, March 28, 2014 at St. Luke’s Hospital. He was the loving husband of the late Maria Adorno and the son of the late Francisco and Maria (Rivera) Adorno. He was born in Puerto Rico and has lived in this area since 1988. Mr. Adorno worked as cranberry picker. Mr. Adorno was the brother of: Rosa Adorno, Mariana Adorno and Justino Adorno all of Puerto Rico, Carmella Adorno, Anna Diaz, Benjamin Adorno and Virginio Adorno all of New Bedford. Domingo was the brother of the late Erasmo, Carlos, Jose and Armando Adorno. He also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will take place Monday evening from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. with a service at 8:00 P.M. Services will be held on Tuesday from 9:00 – 11:00 A.M. followed by his burial in Pine Grove Cemetery. Arrangements have been placed in the care of Perry Funeral Home, 111 Dartmouth St. in New Bedford.
