Elvira C. Belair, 93, died March 22, 2014 at Trinity Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was the wife of the late Arthur “Bones” Belair. Born in Maine, she was a daughter of the late Stanley and Grace (Sawyer) Corbett. Mrs. Belair was a homemaker.
She is survived by two sons James Belair Sr. and his wife JoAnn of Berlin, NJ and Joseph Belair and his wife Sue of Burrillville, a daughter Dorothy Lewin of Pawtucket, a sister Emma Lapierre of Wrentham, MA, a daughter-in-law Pauline Belair, eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two sons Jeffrey Belair and John Belair, a brother Sonny Corbett, and a sister Ruth Mullin.
A Funeral Service will be held Thursday at 10:00 AM in the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in the RI Veteran Memorial Cemetery in Exeter. Visiting hours are Wednesday 5-7 PM.
