On March 21, Doris Hubert 89, passed away at the Woonsocket Health Centre where since 2007 she received the very best care from a devoted staff. She was the beloved wife of Armand Hubert Sr., and daughter of deceased Oscar and Ida Bergeron and sister of Irene Hebert. She is survived by her son Armand Hubert Jr. and his wife Jean as well as her granddaughter Leslie Hubert. She is also survived by her brother-in-law Roland Hubert, her niece Lorraine Languirand and her nephews Roger and Donald Hubert.
Doris had a deep devotion to the Blessed Virgin and was a member of St. Joseph’s Rosary Guild. She continually received calls requesting prayers for sick or terminally ill parishioners. Doris had a gentle spirit, friendly smile and unconditional love for everyone who knew her. The staff members at Woonsocket Health Centre continually reminded me of how she never complained of her pain and suffering. Instead, she showed her gratitude for the loving care she received.
Her funeral will be held Monday at 10:00 AM from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in St. Joseph’s Church, Mendon Rd. Woonsocket. Burial will follow in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery in Bellingham. Visiting Hours are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Joseph’s Good Shepherd School, 1210 Mendon Rd, Woonsocket, RI 02895 would be appreciated.
