Mr. William Jennings Streets, 69, husband of 46 years to Mrs. Delvia I. Streets, entered into rest on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at Trinity Hospital. Mr. Streets was born in Augusta, GA to the late Olin Frank and Ella Mae Ganus Streets.
Graveside service will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2014 at 2:00 PM at West View Cemetery with Reverend Chuck Parrish officiating.
Mr. Streets had worked for Johnson Wall Hanging prior to his retirement. He always had a smile and made those around smile as well. He loved spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchild. Mr. Streets was of the Baptist faith.
Additional survivors include his son, Michael L. Streets (Lynn) of Appling, GA; his daughter, Mrs. Gloria J. Wilson of Harlem, GA.; his brother, Jack W. Streets (Carlene) of Augusta, GA.; a sister, Dorothy Dowe of Maryland; five grandchildren, Brandon Lowe, Shelby Wilson, Haley Wilson, Hannah Streets, Matthew Streets; and one great grandson, Ryan Allen Lowe, and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m..
