Of Assonet, died after an extended illness on Saturday March 15, 2014 in the Kindred Nursing & Rehabilitation Center of Walden in Concord at the age of 70.
Francis T. Mosley, “Frank” was born in Canton, MA September 17, 1943 to the late William and Claire (Ronayne) Mosley. He grew up in Canton and attended Cathedral High School in Boston MA. He married Sonja Evelyne Benson in 1969 and raised his family in Brockton MA. When his children had grown he moved to Assonet MA where he has lived for the past 20 years.
Frank worked and retired from St. Johnsburry Trucking where he was a long time member of the Teamsters Union. He was a member of the National Rifle Association, an avid reader, camper, fisherman and card player. Frank was a Boston sports fan who held Patriot's season tickets. He loved traveling both domestically and internationally and traveling cross country in his RV. He loved entertaining and especially loved being surrounded by family and friends.
He was the beloved husband of 45 years to Sonja E. Mosley who passed on December 15, 2013.
Loving father of Barbara J. (Mosley) Doyle and husband Joseph E. Doyle of Belmont, Scott A. Mosley and wife Elizabeth (Deming) Mosley of Providence, RI, and proud grandfather to Jason, Samantha, John, Suzanne and William and three great grandchildren, Azhelia, Mason and Isis. Also, brother to William and Diane Mosley of Sebastian FL, Joanne Dee of Newington, CT and Trisha Browne of Ft. Meyers, FL. He leaves many nieces, nephews and friends.
Relatives & Friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours from 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial Service in celebration of Frank's Life on Saturday March 29, 2014 at Roache-Pushard Family Funeral Home, 210 Sherman Street, Canton MA. www.roache-pushard.com. Interment for both Frank and Sunnie will be at St. Mary's Cemetery in Randolph immediately following the service.
