James J. Ministeri passed away at the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center in Revere on March 19, 2014. He was 71 years old.
James was born in East Boston and grew up in Malden. He was a graduate of Malden High School, Class of 1960. James worked as a machinist for 40 years for different companies and was president of the resident council at the Lighthouse Nursing Care Center.
James was the devoted husband of 44 years to Roberta “Bobbie” (Ginsberg) Ministeri. He was the beloved father of Lawrence Ministeri and his wife Tammy of Tewksbury and Michelle Ministeri and her fiancé Jennifer Martino of Burlington. James was the dear brother of Sandra Walsh of Peabody. He was the cherished grandfather of James Ministeri. He is also survived by 2 nieces and 1 nephew.
The funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home 865 Main Street Malden on Monday March 24th at 8:00a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Saint Mary Of The Assumption Church 660 Washington Ave. Revere at 9:00a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Sunday March 23rd from 3-7pm. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
