Obituary

John Frederick Hamilton, age 60, passed away at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center on Wednesday March 13, 2014. John is survived by his brother James Hamilton and his wife Barbara of Plympton, his sister Leeanne Mills and her husband Robert of Weymouth, his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Jason and Andrew Hamilton of Plympton, Brenda Doyle of Weymouth and Sean Doyle of Natick. He also leaves his great nephews, Thomas Hamilton of Kingston and Patrick Doyle of Weymouth. John is predeceased by his parents, John and Lillian Hamilton formerly of Weymouth and his sister Joan Valente formerly of Las Vegas.
John was a lifelong resident of Weymouth. He was a former machinist for several Companies making Prosthetics and recently worked for VHS Transportation Company driving a van for the Handicapped. John served his country in the Army stationed in Germany. He was a former member of the Braintree Warriors Drum and Bugle Corps and was an avid Red Sox fan.
Visiting hours will be at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Tuesday, March 18 from 4 to 8 P.M. If you would like to attend the Graveside Service at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne please meet at the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 12 P.M.
