Janice Irene (Green) Post, 77, of Mystic passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at the Westerly Hospital. She is survived by her husband, Everett F. Post, of Mystic.
She was born September 28, 1936, the daughter of Harold and Phoebe Green. Janice was born, raised and lived in Mystic all her life. She was a dietitian for many years and loved to read and play bingo.
In addition to her husband, Janice is survived by her sons Steven (Cindy) Post, Robert (Theresa) Post, Kevin (Linda) Post, Ronald (Anne) Post and a daughter, Luann Post, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister, Virginia Firgeleski. Janice is predeceased by her son, David Post, sister Anna Ferguson, and niece Joyce Ferguson Carter.
A Memorial Service will be conducted at the First United Methodist Church, 23 Willow Street, Mystic, on Friday, March 14, at 2:00pm. Burial will be private for the family at a later date.
