Mary Bridges, age 73, of Douglas, GA passed away on Monday, January 13, 2014, at Heritage Healthcare of Valdosta following an extended illness. Mrs. Bridges was born on June 23, 1940 in Ocilla, GA to the late Jacob Paulk and Mary Griner Paulk.
Survivors include: her two daughters, Andrea (Sean) Thompson of Brooklyn, MI and Dana (Pete) Peterman of Douglas, GA, son, Harold Jake (Denise) Carlton of Newberry, FL, sister Kay Aldridge of Douglas, GA, five grandchildren, Casey Timko, Logan Peterman, Jacob Carlton, Katlyn Carlton, and Jake (Brooke) Petermam, great grandson, Hayes Peterman, several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Bridges.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 17, 2014 from 12:00-1:30 pm.
Graveside Services will be held on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Douglas City Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers memorials maybe made to Bethany Hospice, 101 Bowens Mill Rd, Suite E, Douglas, GA 31533.
