Marcia L. “Marcy” Koffolt, age 55, of Natick, formerly of Stamford, CT passed away unexpectedly at home on Wednesday, January 8, 2014.
Born in Charleston, West Virginia on December 1, 1958, she was a loving daughter of Thomas J. Koffolt and his wife Bonnie of Savannah, Georgia and the late Carol (Ballantyne) Koffolt.
Marcy spent her early childhood living in Ponce, Puerto Rico. Her family later moved to Stamford, CT where she was educated and was a 1976 graduate of Rippowam High School . She furthered her education to become a 1980 graduate of the University of Arizona.
Marcy spent her working career as an International Buyer and for the past 13 years had been employed at Staples Corporate Headquarters in Framingham.
A resident of Natick for the past 13 years. Marcy’s favorite times spent were those with family and friends, of which she especially enjoyed spoiling her nieces. She processed a special place in her heart for animals, cats being her favorite and will always be remembered for her charitable nature and fashionable ways.
She is additionally survived by her devoted sisters, Kimberly A. Koffolt and her husband Brahim Hadjmoussa of St. Paul, MN and Karen E. McDonough and her husband Paul of Mansfield. She was the cherished aunt of Miriam Hadjmoussa and Kenza Hadjmoussa and is also survived by her dear cousins, Susan Firth, Tom Ransom, Carol Ransom and Bill Ransom, as well as her close circle of friends.
Her Funeral Mass, to which relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend, will be celebrated on Friday, January 17th at 11:00 A.M. in St. Mary’s Church, 330 Pratt St. (Route 106) Mansfield. Burial will be private.
Visiting hours will be held on Thursday, January 16th from 5:00-8:00 P.M. at the Sherman & Jackson Funeral Home, 55 North Main St., Mansfield.
