Taunton, George Lundin Jr. passed away on January 9, 2014 at Morton Hospital and Medical Center after a brief illness at the age of 85. He was the loving husband of the late Dorothy (Foster) Lundin. George was born in Brockton Ma, son of the late George and Mildred (Beale) Lundin. George worked for Rumford Litho for 45years until retirement. He was a Member of the National Guard Reserve. He belonged to the 49ers Club in Bridgewater. He enjoyed bocce, camping, square dancing, and horse shoes. His most pride and joy in his life was spending time with his family and raising his six children, Diane Buckley of E. Taunton, Richard Lundin of NH, George Lundin of Stoughton, Lillian Marden of Raynham, Dorothy Lundin of Randolph, and Joseph Lundin of Fl. He was the loving brother of Eldon Lundin of SC and Edna Lundin of Brockton. He was the loving grandfather of Stephanie Levin, Krystal Vargha, Elissa Childers, Michelle McGrath, Daniel Lundin, James Lundin, Joseph Lundin, Brandon Buckley, Adam Goodwin, Greg Goodwin, Austin Blay and Ashley Blay. He is also is survived by six great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. George was loved by many and will be greatly missed. His visiting hours will be held on Sunday from 2pm-5pm at the Taunton Funeral Home, Burial will be private.
