Obituary

Geno J. Castignetti, 88, of Medway, died November 30 at home.
He was the husband of the late Mary Catherine (Drohan) Castignetti who died June 27, 2012.
Born in Southborough, March 22, 1925, the son of the late Joseph and Pierina (Walla) Castignetti.
Mr. Castignetti was a graduate of Southborough High School, class of 1943. He married Mary Catherine Drohan in 1950 and moved to Holliston where he built his first home on High Street. He lived there with his family until 1070 when he moved to Medway.
Mr. Castignetti started to work for Jarrell Ash Company in 1955 and worked there until he retired in 1987. He worked there through the transition to Fisher Scientific and Allied Corporation as a supervisor of the machinists.
Geno was active in the Holliston Men’s Bowling League and the Holliston Little League more many years.
He is survived by his children, Joseph Castignetti of Medway, Geno Castignetti, Jr., of Genesco, New York and Maureen Costelow of Long Beach, California.
He was the brother of the late Louise Parker.
He is also survived b his six grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
Visitation will take place in the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 3 Barber Street, Medway on Saturday December 7 from 2-4 p.m.
Private graveside services will be held in Southborough Rural Cemetery.
