Barbara A. (Benvenuto) Gedrimas died peacefully at home on Friday. She was 74.

Raised in Medford, she was the daughter of the late Louis and the late Frances (Rauseo) Benvenuto. A devoted wife mother and grandmother, Barbara was a friend to many and welcomed all of her daughters’ friends to her home and became a second mother to many.

The beloved wife of Richard R. Gedrimas, she was a devoted mother to Cheryl Rath and her husband Sam, Donna Begin and her husband Paul, Laura Collier and her husband Jed, Lynn Collier and her husband Kelly, all of Medford. She was a loving “Bubba” to Daniel, Cam, Chris, Nick, Allie, Cassie and Tommy. The dear sister of Dolores Perella of Medford, she was a loving aunt to Vincent Perella and Susan Minchello.

Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Tuesday October 29th at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family on Monday 4 – 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
