Obituary

Miguel Orlando Pachebat Perez went home to his Father on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at The Longmeadow Nursing Home in Taunton. Born June 4, 1948 in Guantanamo, Cuba, he is the son of Marta Perez Sanchez who still lives in Cuba and the late Segundo Pachebat. He graduated top of his class as a Chief Machinist from Alte y Offico in Santiago, Cuba and shortly thereafter immigrated to Brooklyn, New York where he met the love of his life Marilu Rodriguez. Miguel was an honest hard working man and retired from New Can Machine Company in Holbrook, MA. He loved going fishing and enjoying music, especially Salsa by Beny More & Rolando La Serie as well as Motown Classics. He assisted his wife in the youth ministry by driving all the youth to and from youth group. He was an ordained Deacon of The Baptist Church of All Nations from 1980 and served actively & dutifully until the decline of his health in 2009. He was made a Deacon Emeritus in 2012. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Marilu Pachebat of Taunton; sister Carmen Lidia Perez Sanchez of Guantanamo Cuba; brother Evelio Lamoru of Miami, Florida; daughter Natacha Beaudry, husband Eric and grandchildren Noa and Levi of North Dighton; son Miguel Antonio Pachebat; wife Denise and grandchild Miguel Xavier of Taunton and daughter Jessica Daye and Herbert “CJ” of Taunton. Viewing will take place at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 from 6-8 PM on 70 Washington Street in Taunton. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at 11:00 AM at The Baptist Church of All Nations on 61 Winthrop Street in Taunton. The burial will take place at the Mayflower Hill Cemetery on 235 Broadway in Taunton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made out to Miguel Pachebat on 18 Monica Street in Taunton.
