Emma D. (Gannon) Delaney of West Roxbury passed away on August 3, 2013. She was 94 years old.
Emma loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She enjoyed day trips to the Arboretum and the Museum of Fine Arts. She enjoyed music, art and singing, especially in recent years in various activities at the nursing home and she enjoyed spending time with Annalise, her dear miniature pinscher.
Emma was the dear and devoted wife of the late George. Beloved mother of Georgine Caparell of Foxboro, Paula Delaney of West Roxbury, and the late Sharon Delaney. Loving Grammy of Laura Feeney and her husband Paul of Foxboro, Linda Strickland and her husband James of Maine, and Gregory Caparell and his wife Melissa of West Roxbury. Also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
Emma's Funeral Mass was celebrated August 6, 2013 in St. Theresa of Avila Chapel. Contributions in Emma’s memory may be made to St. Theresa of Avila Restoration Fund 10 St. Theresa Ave. West Roxbury, MA 02132.
Emma was laid to rest with her beloved George and Sharon at St. Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury.
