Anne "Olga" Hughes (Szewc) age 98 of Canton passed away at the Hellenic Nursing Home on Feb. 6th. Born in Fall River, Olga was raised in Dearborn, Michigan and has resided in Canton for 54 years. Mrs. Hughes was the Assistant Reference Librarian at the Canton Library for many years. Loving mother of William & his wife Deborah of CA, Thomas of Marshfield, Robert & his wife Patti of NH and Anne Semler of Canton. Also survived by 8 grandchildren & 1 great granddaughter. Relatives and friends invited to attend a funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church, Canton Monday at 10:30 am. Visiting hour prior to the mass Monday morning from 9:00 to 10:00 at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton. Burial Canton Corner Cemetery, Canton. Donations may be made in her memory to the Canton Public Library 786 Washington St. Canton, MA 02021. | |||||
