Freida Byda Williams, of Canton, formerly of Hyde Park, passed away on January 9, 2013. She was 89 years old. Born and raised in Boston, Freida worked for many years in the Accounts Receivable Dept. at Gold Seal Rubber Co. in Readville.
Freida was the dear and devoted wife of the late Joseph J. Williams. Loving mother of John Williams and his wife Janice of Canton. Loving grandmother “Sitto” of Kristin, Jacqueline and Stephanie. Dear sister of Margaret Moses of Dedham, Jeannette Byda of Norwood, John Byda of Dover, Frederic Byda of FL, Christine Byda of FL and the late Elias Byda. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Freida's Funeral Service was held January 12, 2013 at the Annunciation Melkite Cathedral, 7 VFW Parkway, West Roxbury.
Contributions in Freida’s memory may be made to the Cathedral.
Freida was reunited with her husband Joseph at Mt. Benedict Cemetery.
