Stanley Prosneick, 94, of Medway, died December 8 in Milford Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Helen E. (Lasker) Prosneick who died in 2004.
Born in Depew, New York, March 23, 1918, the son of the late Albert Prosniak and Anna (Kiebzak) and her husband John Bezuszko, Mr. Prosneick was raised in Buffalo and had lived in Cheektowaga, New York for 52 years prior to moving to Medway six years ago.
Mr. Prosneick had worked for the Pierce & Stevens Chemical Corporation in Buffalo for 42 years before retiring.
Stanley loved to bowl.
He is survived by his children, Roger Prosneick of Silver Creek, New York and his late wife Joanne, Karen Solly and her husband Paul of Orchard Park, New York, Debora Lawton and her husband Timothy of Medway. He was the father of the late Dennis Prosneick.
He was the brother of Helen Prosniak of Cheektowaga, New York and the late Walter Prosneick, Matthew Prosneick and Edward Prosniak.
He is also survived by his grandchildren, Lisa, Amy and Kevin Prosneick, Bradley and Nathan Solly and Adam and Ryan Lawton.
He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at a later date in New York.
