Carol A. Cassidy age 64 of Salem, died Monday, December 3, 2012 at the Merrimac Valley Hospice House in Haverhill, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Lowell and raised in Dunstable she was the daughter of the late Paul J. Cassidy and Barbara A. (Beek) Cassidy. Carol was a graduate of Lowell High and had her BA in English. Early in her career she decided not to teach and settled on cooking. She was currently head chef for the Bellview Country Club in Melrose. Carol was a very hard worker with a winning smile who will be missed by many.
She is survived by a brother, Bill T. Cassidy and his wife Diane of Ipswich, an aunt, Margaret Petropoulakas of Lowell, her devoted friends, Richard Kiley of Salem and Larry Nadeau of Vermont, as well as nieces and nephew. She also leaves her devoted 4 legged pal Charlie.
