John D. Jenkins, Jr. age 56 formerly of Canton, of Brockton passed away suddenly November 9th at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Born in Norwood, he was raised in Canton and graduated from Canton High School Class of 1974 and was a Veteran of the United States Army. He was the Past Grand Knight of the K of C Council # 2095 in Canton and a frequent volunteer for the Special Olympics. He worked as a driver for TLC Transportation in Canton & was a Counselor for GROW in Randolph. Beloved son of John D. Sr. of Canton & the late Anna H. (Walker). Brother of Mary K. Carr and her husband John of Canton, Theresa Coffey and her husband Gary of FL, William P. and his wife Ann of Stoughton, Eileen Jenkins-Clardy & her husband Jeff of Canton and the late Frederick J. Also survived by several nieces & nephews. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Wednesday 3-7 pm. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Thursday morning at 10. Burial Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to the Special Olympics 1133 19th Street NW Washington, DC 20036. | |||||
