Gerardo H. LoPilato age 71 of Canton passed away October 30th at home surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Mirabella, Italy, he came to the United States at the age of 26. He owned and operated Gerard’s Foreign Car Service in Roslindale for many years before retiring in 2002. He has lived in Canton for the last 41 years. Beloved husband of Louise R. (Avellino). Father of Christopher LoPilato of Quincy, Maria DiLetizia, Rosie DiLetizia, Sylvia Ruscito & Alfredo LoPilato all of Canton and Marc LoPilato of Walpole. Brother of Rosalba LoPilato, Alberto LoPilato & Liliana Capone all of Italy. Also survived by 9 grandchildren. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Friday 4-8 pm. Funeral mass at St. Gerard Majella Church Canton Saturday morning at 10 am. Burial Canton Corner Cemetery.
