BECKER – CORNELIA “NELL” T. (TALPOS), 2012 in Knoxville, Tennessee. Formally of Canton, Ma and Sun City, AZ., passed away October 4th at the age of 94. Nell resided the past few years at River Oaks Place in Lenoir City, TN. She was a retired employee of the EPA, Boston, Ma. While in Sun City, Nell was an active member of the St. Clement’s Catholic Church Alter Guild. Preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Oliver R. Becker, her parents Louis and Anna Talpos, and brothers Louis and John Talpos. Cornelia is survived by her daughter Nancy Ruane and her husband John, of Marstons Mills, MA; sons Oliver and wife Judy, of Lottsburg, VA, Bruce and wife Jackie, of Farragut, TN, Robert and wife, Kris Walters, of Tumwater, WA, William and wife Elizabeth; 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial in Celebration of Nell's Life Wednesday morning at 10:30 a.m. at Saint John the Evangelist Church, Washington Street, Canton. Interment will follow at the Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton. Visiting hours will be held at the Roache - Pushard Family Home for Funerals, 210 Sherman Street, Canton, on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m.
