John S. Higgins age 73 of East Taunton passed away at the Kindred Transitional Care in East Bridgewater September 28th. Born and raised in Tennessee, he was a Veteran of the United States Air Force. He has lived in Taunton since 1997 and has previously lived in Stoughton and Canton. He worked for Lois Shoe in South Boston for many years before retiring. Beloved husband of Bonnie G. (Titus). Father of John Higgins & his wife Lori of Taunton, Richard Higgins of Brockton & James Higgins & his wife Sandy of Brockton and the late Michael Higgins. Also survived by 8 grandchildren. He was predeceased by 2 grandchildren Richard & Ashley Higgins. Visiting hours at the Dockray & Thomas Funeral Home 455 Washington St. Canton Wednesday morning from 9 to 11 am. The visitation will be followed by a graveside service at CANTON CORNER CEMETERY Canton at 11:15.
