Julia “Judy” Brown Haire, age 85, died Thursday, September 27, 2012 at Yalobusha General Nursing Home in Water Valley, MS. She was born October 25, 1926 in Panola County, MS to the late Emmet C. and Letha Mixon Brown. Judy was a homemaker, she enjoyed listening to music, she loved to sing and she was a member of Mt. Gilead Baptist Church. She loved her children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 3, 2012 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS. A graveside service will be held at 11:45 AM on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 in the Bethlehem Methodist Church Cemetery in Yalobusha County, MS with Bro. Freddie Mooreman officiating. She is survived by two daughters, Sandra Mango of Seattle, WA and Nancy Miller (Bryce) of Southaven, MS; three sisters, Wilma Russum of Collierville, TN, Juanita Zorzoli and Rebecca Moore both of Water Valley, MS; two brothers, Calvin Brown of Byhalia, MS and Brooks Brown of Memphis, TN; her grandchildren Lisa, Jason, Rachael, Julie, Tina, Shirley, Amy, Michael Lee, Skyzic, Lighten, Missy, Chris and Angela; and her great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Haire; two sons, Gary Haire and Michael Haire; three brothers, Chesterfield Brown, Jesse Lee Brown, and Robert Brown. | ||||
