Obituary

Rosalie A. “Rose” (Shea) Dyer, age 79, of Lynn, died Wednesday, September 12 at the Phillips Manor Nursing Home in Lynn after a long illness.

Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late James and Rosalie Shea. Rose was also pre-deceased by her ex-husband John Dyer

Before her retirement, she made lobster tanks for Dayno Manufacturing Company.

She is survived by one son, Thomas E. and his wife Claudette Dyer of Worcester and one daughter Lori Dyer of Lynn. She was also the mother of the late Juanita “Wendy” Cennami.

Beloved grandmother of five grandchildren, Anthony and Katie Dyer, Paul and Anthony Cennami and Thomas Nolan. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren including her beloved Anjelo Garcia with whom she shared the last of nine years together.

She was the sister of the late James Shea and Marie Olson.

We would like to thank the staff and management of Phillips Manor and the Hospice of the North Shore of Greater Boston for their professional and courteous care of Rose.

Service Information: Relatives and friends are invited to attend funeral services in the NADWORNY FUNERAL HOME, 798 Western Ave., Lynn on Tuesday at 6 p.m. Visiting hours will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Interment will be private.
