The life of Stephen J. Maurier, 29, of Manchester, ended tragically on Monday, June 18, 2012.
He was born in Manchester on November 8, 1982 to Roger H. and Irene (Dumas) Maurier and lived most of his life in Hooksett.
In his younger years, he sang in the choir at Holy Rosary Church in Hooksett.
Stephen recently worked at Standard Hardware in Merrimack. Prior to this he worked as a culinary chef at several Manchester area restaurants. He enjoyed lakes, fishing, camping, nature walks with his son and auto racing. He was very skilled at working with his hands, including cooking, engine repair, and woodworking.
The family includes his dear wife, Lindsay A. (Douglas) Maurier of Manchester; a son, whom he adored, Ethan M. Douglas of Manchester; his parents, Roger H. Maurier and Irene Dumas-Maurier of Hooksett; his maternal grandparents, Raymond and Marceline (Latulippe) Dumas of Florida; his father in law and mother in law, Michael and Diane (Dubreuil) Douglas of Auburn; a sister in law, Jody Scott and her husband, Wade, of Baton Rouge, LA; a brother in law, Michael Douglas Jr. and his companion, Heather Finson, of Manchester; aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated on Friday, June 22, 2012 at Holy Rosary Church, 21 Main St., Hooksett. Private burial was at St. Augustin Cemetery, Manchester.
