Karen Ann Hutera Henschell of Mahtomedi, MN, beloved wife of John "Jack" Henschell, entered into eternal life on May 27, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. Karen was born May 24, 1939 in Minneapolis, MN and married on May 7, 1960. Devoted mother of Kristine (John) Tomnitz, David (Suzette) Henschell, Dan (Amy) Henschell, Lisa (Troy) Axelson, and Scott (Jeanne) Henschell, grandmother of Cheryl (Josh) Juelich, Jeff Tomnitz, Dacia Tomnitz, Paul, Henschell, Mary Henschell, Elizabeth Henschell, Thomas Henschell, Kathryn Henschell, Ryan Henschell, Will Henschell, Matthew Henschell, Brandon Axelson, Lauren Axelson, Nate Axelson, Peter Henschell, Josie Henschell, and great-grandmother of Austin Juelich, Renae Juelich and Maeli Juelich. Preceeded in death by her father, Walter Hutera, her mother Josephine Morafka Hutera, her brother Wayne Hutera, and her step-mother Frances Labiak Hutera. Thank you to all family, friends and the many caregivers for their loving support during her long battle with cancer. Thank you also to Dr. Dispenzieri and team at the Mayo Clinic for their ongoing care. Mass of Christian Burial Friday (6/1) 1:00 PM at CHURCH OF ST. PETER, 2600 N. Margaret St., North St. Paul, with visitation beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery.
