| Sutherland, George F., 82, of Bellingham, died May 17, 2012 at Milford Regional Medical Center. He was raised in St. Peter's Parish, Dorchester and lived in Quincy and Scituate. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Alice (Fuller) Sutherland, his son George Jr. and his wife Debra of Plainville, his son Brian of Bellingham, his daughters, Ann Marie Beaudette and her husband Stephen of Biddeford, ME, Karen Giovannucci and her husband Robert of Needham and Donna Moran and her husband Jerry of Bellingham. Also survived by 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Brother of the late Alfred, Ruth and Sister Joan M. Sutherland. George was a US Army Veteran. He worked for the Gillette Company, was a teacher at Quincy Vocational Technical School and at Quincy Junior College. He was a graduate of Fitchburg State College. He received a Master's Degree at Boston State College. He was the former President and awarded "Man of the Year" in 1986 at RSES. He was on the advisory board of South Shore Vocational Technical School and was a charter member of the Braintree Elks as well as a member of the Braintree DAV and Quincy Retired Teacher's Association. Funeral will be held on Monday, May 21st at 9:30AM from CARTIER’S FUNERAL HOME, 151 So. Main St. (Rte 126), Bellingham, MA with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM at St. Blaise Church. Visiting hours are on Sunday, May 20th from 4 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Interment Holyhood Cemetery.
