Arlene Beverly (Cook) Gilbert, of Bridgewater formerly of Kingston, died on March 28th at South Shore Hospital at the age of 83. She is survived by her beloved children Alan R. Gilbert and his wife Nancy of MI, Diania Bratti and her husband Vincent of Whitman and Roberta Sullivan and her husband John of Manomet. She also leaves her 6 grandchildren, 2 step-grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
Arlene was born and raised in Auburn, ME where she graduated from the Leveitt Institute. She had worked for Buttners Clothing as a sales clerk for many years and for Cura VNA as a home health aide. She was an avid bowler, loved to dance and play bingo and especially enjoyed spending time with her family.
A memorial service will be held at the Richard Davis Funeral Home, 373 Court St (Rt 3A) N. Plymouth on Sunday, April 15th at 1 PM. A private burial will be held at a later date in Auburn, ME. In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations in her memory be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY, 13220-3049
