Valerie M. (Bruzzo) Kirkman, 95 passed away Monday March 26, 2012 at the Nevins Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Methuen, MA.
Born and educated in Lawrence, MA, she attended St. Patrick’s Grammar School and was a graduate of Lawrence High School. She attended St. Monica’s Church in Methuen and helped with the church annual fair. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. Enjoyed reading, watching the Boston Red Sox, and while working as a home health aide comforting those in need.
The widow of Wilfred Kirkman, Valerie is survived by her children; Wilfred “Bud” and his wife Geraldine of Milbury, MA, Ronald and his wife Joan of Needham, MA, John “Jack” Kirkman of Greenwood, SC, Alan and his wife Frances of Windham, NH, Richard and his wife Pamela of Salem, NH and Valerie Sideri and her husband William of Methuen, MA.
16 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Family and friends may call on Thursday from 4:00p.m. – 7:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence Street Methuen, MA 01844. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday at 10:00a.m. in St. Monica’s Church in Methuen, MA. Burial will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery also in Methuen.
