Judith Demetriou (Nicholis), of Winthrop passed away March 19th in the Mass. General Hospital. She was 74. Born and raised in Lynn, Judy attended Lynn Public Schools graduating from Lynn Classical High School. She Loved Spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Beloved wife of Peter Demetriou. Loving mother of James Demetriou of Winthrop, Angela and her husband Nicholas Scangas of Lynnfield and Maria and her husband Michael LoPresti of Melrose. Cherished grandmother of Kristina, Nicholas, Steven & Andrew Scangas. Sister of Dr. George Ronald Nicholis of KS. Relatives & friends respectfully invited to attend a funeral from the Maurice W. Kirby Funeral Home 210 Winthrop St. Winthrop, MA, Friday at 9:45 AM followed by a funeral service in St. George Greek Orthodox Church 54 S. Common St. Lynn, MA at 11:00 AM.
