Obituary

Mrs. Elaine R. (Morin) Cote, of Raynham, died Tuesday, March 20 at her residence following a lengthy illness. She was the beloved wife of Jean J. Cote. She was born 80 years ago in Taunton, the daughter of the late Joseph and Leah (Nadeau) Morin. She was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong area resident. Prior to her retirement, she had been employed as an occupational therapist at the Paul A. Dever State School for many years. She was previously employed as a school bus driver for H & L Bloom’s Bus Service for a number of years. Elaine enjoyed camping at Ellis Haven in Plymouth, and spending time with her family. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church in East Taunton.
In addition to her husband, she leaves: 2 sons: William White of Boston, and Richard White of Raynham; 2 daughters: Joanne White of Raynham, and Diane Adams and her husband, Douglas of Raynham; 1 brother: James Morin of Florida; 2 sisters: Anita Alvilheira and Freda Sylvia, both of Taunton; 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, Taunton, on Saturday, March 24 at 9:45 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in the Holy Family Church at 10:45 A.M. Interment will be in Cedar Knoll Cemetery, East Taunton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Visiting Hours will be held on Friday, from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M.
