Sylvia Rabinovitz Roffo 82, of Quincy, formerly of Sharon & Boynton Bch, Fl Passed away March 17, 2012.
Born in Chelsea, Sylvia instilled her love of music & song in her 2 children, Barry & Linda Rabinovitz. In 1978, she became a Realtor at Robert Stone in Braintree. After 10 yrs, she partnered with her son, Barry & formed Sylvia Roffo & Assoc. in Wollaston in May, 1988.
As she helped homeowners to buy & sell their dream, home, she became known as ‘Sylvia Sells’ & worked another 13 yrs at what is now Classic Homes Real Estate. She loved training & helping new agents learn the business.
This smiling, fashionable lady enjoyed rolling dice in Vegas. A cat lover and a true people Lover—if she liked you, she LOVED you…and people felt that Love and loved her in return. Besides her children, She is survived by her
son’s wife, Angela Ponte & cousin Irene Goldstein , both of Quincy, niece Ronna Guiness of Atlanta, nephew Martin Dolgin of Ca., nephews, nieces, cousins their children and friends.
Funeral services at noon on Wednesday, March 21 at Temple Beth El 1001 Hancock St, Quincy.
Burial at Everett Cemetery.
Shiva will follow at the home of Barry & Angela until 8 pm, Thursday 5-8, & Fri 1-3.
