In Davie, FL, March 17, 2012 Dr. Joseph B. Gregg husband of Marjorie (Torrence) Gregg died at his home at the age of 82. Born in Taunton, Joseph was the son of the late William R. and Rose A. (Nichols) Gregg. Joseph served with the US Army in the Korean War as a 1st Lieutenant. He was educated in the school in Taunton then received his B.S. and M.S. degrees from Bridgewater State Teachers College and Ed.D. Nova University in FL. Joseph was a Professor of Hospitality Management at Miami-Dade Junior College in FL and Florida International University. He also was the Administrator of DCT Culinary Center in Lucerne, Switzerland. Joseph was a member of the Board of Directors for DCT Culinary Center in Lucerne, Switzerland and also volunteered with and contributed to numerous relief organizations and Charities, including serving on the board of directors of Hope Outreach in Davie, FL. Joseph was the father of Donald, Stephen, David and his wife Ruth, Rob and his wife Andrea and Brenda Jo. Grandfather of sixteen and Great Grandfather of several great grandchildren. Brother of Paul and his wife Linda and Brian and his wife Ellen. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Thursday, March 22nd at 9 AM. A Mass will be held at St Andrew the Apostle Church in Taunton at 10 AM. Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 6-8 PM. Interment St Joseph Cemetery in Taunton.
